HealthSync Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 8, 2026

HealthSync ("the app", "we") syncs your Apple Health sleep and workout data to your Google Calendar. This policy explains what data HealthSync accesses, how it is used, and the choices you have. The short version: your data is used only to create calendar events for you, it is processed on your own device, and it is never sold or shared.

Information HealthSync accesses

How your information is used

HealthSync uses your data for one purpose: converting your sleep and workout records into events on your Google Calendar. Your health data and calendar data are not used for advertising, are not sold, and are not used to build profiles about you.

Where your data is stored

HealthSync processes your Apple Health data locally on your device. Your health records are not uploaded to our servers. Google OAuth tokens are stored securely on your device and are used only to communicate directly with Google's Calendar API.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. The only party that receives data from HealthSync is Google itself, in the form of the calendar events created in your own Google account.

Google API Services — Limited Use disclosure

HealthSync's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically: Google user data is used only to provide the calendar-sync feature you requested; it is not transferred to third parties except as necessary to provide that feature, comply with law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with notice to you; it is not used for advertising; and humans do not read it except with your explicit consent, for security purposes, to comply with law, or in aggregated and anonymized form.

Data retention and deletion

Calendar events created by HealthSync remain in your Google Calendar until you delete them, and you can delete them at any time like any other event. You can revoke HealthSync's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, and revoke its Apple Health access in your device's Health settings. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data, including tokens.

Children's privacy

HealthSync is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
