Little Worm: Baby Tracker

Information we collect

• Account information. Your email address, name when provided by your sign-in provider, and account identifier are used to sign you in and enable caregiver sharing.
• Content you log. Your baby’s name, date of birth, optional sex, and records of feeds, sleep, nappies, baths, growth, and notes. These are stored in your account so they can sync across devices and with carers you choose.
• Diagnostics and usage. Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore may collect technical diagnostic data. Google Sign-In may process account information (including contact details supplied to Google), account and device identifiers, usage information, and network data such as IP addresses used to estimate approximate location for security and fraud prevention. These SDKs use data for authentication, app functionality, and service analytics. Little Worm does not include Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics and does not use this information for advertising profiles.

How your information is used

Your data is used only to provide the app: keeping your log, syncing it between your devices and invited carers, and diagnosing problems. We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.

Where your data is stored

Firebase Authentication manages sign-in and Cloud Firestore stores synced profiles and care records. Optional Apple and Google sign-in use those providers’ authentication services. These providers process information under their own privacy policies; data may be processed outside your country.

Sharing

Your baby’s log is visible only to you and carers you explicitly invite. Personal data is shared only with service providers that host or process it on our behalf, or where required by law.

Siri and widgets

Siri is optional. Apple processes your spoken request; Little Worm receives structured care details and saves them after confirmation. The app does not store audio recordings. Widgets keep a local shared snapshot on your device and use the same account permissions.

Children’s privacy

Little Worm is for parents and carers and is not directed at children. Accounts may only be created by adults. Information about your baby is entered by you and remains under your control.

Data retention and deletion

You can delete individual entries or use Settings > Delete Account. Deletion removes your sign-in account, user record, and invitations. A child profile and its care records are removed when you are its only caregiver; shared child records remain available to the other caregivers. Apple accounts confirm Apple authorization before deletion; email accounts confirm their password. Contact us if you need help with deletion.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update this page and the date above.
